Terms of sale and use
- Plain English Library sells digital PDF guides. After payment you receive immediate access to download your file.
- Each purchase grants one person a personal license to use the guide and its templates in their own work. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share or repackage the files.
- Our guides are educational. They are not legal, financial, tax, compliance or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the information and for reviewing anything you publish or send.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. For purchases through our checkout, Stripe acts as the merchant of record, so your receipt and card statement may show Stripe, and any sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Refund policy
If a guide does not help you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. Include the email address you used at checkout. Refunds are returned to your original payment method, and your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Privacy policy
- What we collect: your name and email when you request a free guide, and the details Stripe provides when you buy (name, email, and billing country). Stripe handles card information directly.
- How we use it: to deliver your purchase or free guide, answer your questions, and occasionally send practical tips and new guide announcements.
- Your choices: every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to access, correct or delete your information.
- Sharing: we do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site, such as our payment processor and email provider.
