How we write a guide

• One reader, one problem. A guide starts with a specific job, like writing a listing, and ends when that job is done.
• Primary sources first. Where a guide touches rules, such as Fair Housing advertising, we work from the regulation and the agency's own guidance, and we link to them.
• Built for ordinary notes. Prompts are written to work in the free versions of common AI chat tools, from the kind of rough notes people actually have, and we revise them when readers report problems.
• Honest limits. We say where a guide stops and your broker, lawyer or accountant takes over. Our guides are educational and are not legal or compliance advice.

How buying works

You pay once through Stripe's secure checkout and download the PDF immediately. There are no subscriptions and no upsells. If a guide does not help you, email us within 14 days for a full refund.

Updates and corrections

Rules and AI tools change. When we find an error or something goes out of date, we fix the guide and buyers get the updated edition of the same title for free. If you spot something, tell us at [email protected].
